Childcare benefit, am I eligible?
You will need to call your family assistance office to see if you are eligible for Child Care benefit: 136 150. Your nanny will need to become a registered provider and he or she can easily do this by going along to a family assistance office and filing out form FA 019. Your nanny must take two forms of ID and a completed form and then have a short interview with an assessment officer

Domestic Workers Insurance: How do I organise this?
We are often asked whether as an employee you need to get insurance cover for people working in your home. The simple answer is YES. You should start by ringing the company that insures you for home contents as it is likely they can add Domestic Workers insurance to this for a small annual fee. If this does not work for you then contact Work Cover NSW on 4321 5000.
